Jose Tenenbaum

I study business at the University of Miami.

This semester I’m a junior, and I build AI systems part-time at EG Capital.

I’m working toward a BBA in entrepreneurship, with a minor in business law. I expect to graduate in May 2028.

Coursework so far: microeconomics and macroeconomics, marketing, business analytics, business law and ethics, and business technology and innovation.

Work and service

AI Systems Intern, EG Capital

May 2026 to presentRemote, part-time

Claude Code, Python, SQLite, Next.js, React, Playwright, Netlify

I build AI systems for outreach and prospecting, client reporting, content pipelines and marketing websites.

The first was an agentic operating system for the firm’s podcast: it ran the recurring work behind the show, from finding and checking guests to drafting the outreach, and it started everything else. Since then I have built a client-reporting portal, a writing system for the firm’s posts, the firm’s websites and the tooling I build them with. A person approves everything before it leaves the firm. Each system is on the Portfolio page.

Fundraising Officer, Huntsman Cancer Institute

January 2025 to present

Huntsman Cancer Institute is the University of Utah’s cancer center, and my fraternity raises money for it every year. I keep the call list our volunteers use to reach donors, and I also organize our fundraising and cancer-awareness events.

Together, we raised more than $272,000 across the 2024 to 2026 school years.

Marketing Intern, 3rd-i

November 2024 to January 2025Remote

I created more than 50 Instagram posts ahead of an app launch.

3rd-i is a personal safety app: you share a live trip with people you trust, and a safety agent can step in. It had not launched yet, and the team needed an Instagram audience to launch into, so I made reels around trending topics for them to post, in Canva and CapCut, and checked each one with the CEO and the social media team.

Intern, Gate City Athletics

August 2023 to February 2024Remote

Gate City Athletics is a sports agency whose agents deal with team front offices, so the database of who holds which job at every NFL team has to be right. I was in charge of keeping it up to date: every name, email, position and region, updated weekly and checked for errors, so agents didn’t write to people who had moved on.

Counselor, Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley

July 2020 to August 2023Maynard, Massachusetts

This was my first job. I started as a counselor-in-training, was promoted to counselor, and ran the programs for grades 2 to 5, which meant being the person a group of seven-to-eleven-year-olds looked to all day. With the senior staff I worked on how the program itself ran.

Certificates and tools

  • Entrepreneurship Specialization, The Wharton School (Coursera)
  • Figma Certification (Coursera)

I build with Claude Code every day. I also use Python, SQLite, Next.js, React, Playwright, Excel, Figma and Tableau when a project calls for them.

How I work

  • I only use facts I can check.
  • I’ll do whatever it takes to get a strong result.
  • I do what’s best for the people I’m with.
